We understand that some of our virtual students are under the impression that they are exempt from this year’s STAAR testing. That is not the expectation from TEA. The mandate has come down that ALL STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO REPORT TO CAMPUS IN PERSON FOR THEIR RESPECTIVE STAAR EXAMS. TEA has communicated to superintendents that investigations will be conducted on schools that have high numbers of absences on test days. The testing schedule and details on precautions we are taking is attached.
