Niche.com ranks CSA as #5 in a list of 2023 Best Charter High Schools in Texas

Picture Day will take place on Tuesday, October 4, 2022

CSA will conduct vision screening on October 5th-7th for students in grades K, 1, 3, 5 and 7.

An auditor with the Texas School Safety Center evaluated all exterior CSA doors and gave us an outstanding rating. We are commended on being a safe school.

Dues to impending severe weather, CSA will release students early at 2:10pm (after 9th period) on March 21, 2022.

With the learning loss experienced by so many, CSA staff stands ready to provide additional support for our students. K-3 teachers will team teach to catch needy students at those grades. Students in grades 4-12 have two options. They may receive remote assistance from staff members listed in blue or PM students may come to sixth period in person and AM students may do the same during seventh period. CSA will operate on a 2-hour delay on February 24, 2022. Staff will begin taking temperatures for morning students at 9:30 with classes to begin at 4th period (starting at 9:50am). Afternoon schedule will operate as normal.

US News & World Report recently ranked Chaparral Star Academy 4th out of Austin-area high schools along with various additional rankings.

Chaparral Star Academy will revert to full time in-person pursuits for 2021-2022 school year.
