Annually, during October, Student Support Counselor, Ms. Heather Lyftogt, instructs 6th-12th grade students on information regarding substance abuse prevention using research-based curriculum (Safety First: Real Drug Education for Teens (Drug Policy Alliance) https://drugpolicy.org/resource/safety-first-real-drug-education-teens and One Pill Can Kill (from the US Drug Enforcement Agency): https://www.dea.gov/onepill).
